If in 1 gram of:

  • Fat is 9 calories
  • Alcohol is 7 calories
  • Protein is 4 calories
  • Carbohydrate is 4 calories

And you are trying to loose weight, than you should:

  • cut down on meat
  • substitute low fat for high fat foods
  • eat fewer processed foods
  • emphasize the complex carbohydrates
  • drink little alcohol

    Just a note to cutting down on meet; the rule is the less legs the better; so that means chose chicken over beef; etc..
    and one more thing, which is very important: EXERCISE!!! the basic formula is calorie income < calorie burned !;
    it is also very important to keep your diet balanced;
    I would not cut everything what you like, if you like steak have a steak, but make sure you have enough salad, and that you do not have steak every day, adjust the portions.

    Keep in mind it is not a good idea to just cut down on the food you eat.Body will think you are under stress and will store much more, and your metabolism will slow down.
    It is important to eat in order to lose weight! You need to keep going your metabolism, keep it running keep it runnig fast.
    You should not have the feeling of hunger during the day if you want to loose weight.
    You should add small well balanced snacks. Add a fruit, or salad, or some power bars….

    If you drink alcohol, try not to eat after you start drinking. It is not a good combination, and your calorie income will go over the roof.
    Hard alcohol has more calories than wine! so make the right choice :)))

    BUT FIRST OF ALL ENJOY LIFE!!!!
