To stay healthy and fit, imitate the old times

We live in 21-st century now. But, our bodies don’t know that, only our brains realize that. So we go through our lives and see stuff others do and think that, that’s what we are suppose to do.

We sit in the offices for hours, without moving much and we eat plastic food from vending machines, go to restaurants where other people prepare relatively cheap and effortless foods for us and we eat a lot of it. Than we preheat packaged foods for convenience and lack of time. And we think while looking around, that that’s the way we should live. That, that’s the normal way to live.

While our brains adapted to constant flow of information and stress 21-st century requires, our bodies didn’t have time to adapt. That’s why you see so many ill overweight people on the streets. And certain diseases like cancer, diabetes, heart conditions are becoming epidemic.

Why is that? Our bodies still live somewhere in 3-rd century and further before, when people didn’t eat processed, sweetened, fried, bleached over-salted foods. When people didn’t seat on their butts all day long and were constantly moving and looking for food in wild nature to survive. People had to work physically very hard to survive, to protect themselves and their tribe members from wild animals and enemies.

The result of this difference between now and long time ago is, that our bodies are braking down. We are not giving them what they naturally need. They were meant to function perfectly and stay strong and healthy, while we were eating natural foods and moving around a lot.

Now with our comfortable lifestiles, our bodies get sick, we destroy them and pollute them with processed junk food that contains huge amount of empty calories and with sedentary lifestyle. They don’t get what they need to stay happy, strong and healthy.

Create your own 3-rd century lifestyle.

So how do you create thriving conditions for you to keep your body healthy? Like it was meant to be?

You create those 3-rd century conditions for yourself. Instead of sitting all day in the office and than in front of TV, you’ll go for 1 hour intensive fast walk, run, swim, lift weights or other escaping the wild animal, or building shelter or hunting kind of activity anytime you can. That will send a message to your body, that the good old struggling times are back and it’s time to get strong, lean, fit and healthy again.

And than you will eat only natural diet, the foods you can find only in nature like – fruits, vegetables, wild greens, nuts, berries, chicken, fish, and maybe you will be able to hunt down some wild pig occasionally.

You can only drink water, because there isn’t any sugar in 3-rd century.

Suddenly, and it happens fast, you start feeling good, your body start’s working like a perfect efficient engine that rarely gets tired and stays strong, healthy and that makes you happy.

In order to achieve all this, try to create little bit of 3-rd century environment when you have to work physically hard everyday and eat foods you find naturally in nature. If it doesn’t sounds like much fun for you, it isn’t.  But these conditions kept our ancestors healthy, strong, durable individuals and so they can make one of you.
